Each week, an AHA! practitioner will present a topic to build coping skills, create deep relaxation, nourish your mind/ body/ spirit, and enhance your life. Please view our schedule & take your pick!

Tuesday 6/6/17 - 6:30-7:30pm - Positive and Empowering Self-Talk
In this workshop, you will learn new skills to boost self-confidence and help relieve stress from work, school or everyday life. (Twilah Winters, LCSW- Licensed Social Worker)

Tues 6/13/17 - 6:30-7:30pm - Hypnotherapy 101
Are you tired of feeling stressed out & overwhelmed? Hypnosis addresses the root cause of our issues, empowers internal resources to resolve the symptoms, and creates lasting change. In this workshop you will experience the induction of a deep state of relaxation that promotes stress release and balance between the mind, body, and emotions. Tues 7/11/17 - 6:30-7:30pm - Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB)
CCB can assist in releasing stress and anxiety naturally. This breathing process helps one become more conscious of the power of their breath in healing physical, spiritual and emotional issues. This presentation includes an overview of the process, a breathing meditation and a Q&A Period. (Jack Fontana, Certified Level 1V Breathworker)

Tues 7/18/17 - 6:30-7:30pm - MindfulTechniques for Stress Reduction
This workshop covers a collection of skillful exercises that can be used to address stress, anxiety, anger, fear, inattentiveness, rumination, distractedness, etc., including relaxation techniques and mindful concentration exercises integrating various meditation traditions and therapeutic approaches. Tues 8/1/17 - 6:30-7:30pm - Using the Five Senses for Relaxation
This workshop explores techniques that utilize sight, sound, taste, touch and smell as we learn and practice relaxation skills. Participants receive tips, scripts and in- class experiences to build a daily personal practice with meditation, movement and guided imagery. (Amy Wilson, LCSW, BACS- Licensed Social Worker)

Tues 8/1/17 - 6:30-7:30pm - “Rising Strong: The Reckoning. The Rumble. The Revolution.”
This workshop will be a curious investigation into our own life’s experiences that involve struggle and hardship, with a process on how to deliberately write these into the story of our lives from a place of self-compassion and wisdom in a way that brings more wisdom and wholeheartedness into our lives. When we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write the ending. (Veronica Mollere, LCSW- Licensed Social Worker)
